Product Information

Chlorine dioxide is effective to use in controlling microbial growth in water, which is used in printing. Dosing depends on the degree of existing microbiological contamination and is process-dependent.
Depending on the specific requirements of the system chlorine dioxide should be continuously or from time by time applied to achieve a residual concentration between 0.1 and 5.0 ppm.

The value must be preserved within local and national legislation. For best results and most effective usage of chlorine dioxide control of the pH value is recommended.

Further application instructions can be found on the packaging and in the attachments.

Chlorine dioxide is also used for deodorizing malodorous waste and sewage. For the latter, it is useful because it unlike chlorine does not affect chlorinating and therefore dismisses any persistent organochlorine compounds in the environment as well as over a wide pH range retains its effectiveness.
